You can automate certain behaviors in this chat system by writing scripts in a language called iptscrae. For example, when you say zap it can draw a beam of energy to a user and make a zap sound and a bubble appear around the targeted user. See the iptscrae command reference for the full list of commands.
IPTSCRAE is a stack based programming language in reverse polish notation, written by Jim Bumgardner for authoring interactive CD menus. He repurposed it for a visual chat system in 1993. Members only — signed-in accounts save multiple scripts to your profile.
